- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive project plans, defining objectives, budgets, schedues, resource allocations, and performance metrics.
- Own the technical scope of utilityscale PV and BESS projects, including component specification, design validation, system integration planning, and technical risk management.
- Drive and oversee technical reviews of engineering deliverables and supplier documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements, contractual obligations, applicable standards, and regulatory requiremens.
- Focus on permitting activities:
- Review and validate executive design from development stage to ensure alignment with company standards, grid codes, and permitting conditions.
- Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation measures.
- Produce, coordinate or review preliminary studies and design documentation during development and execution phases.
- Support MV/HV grid connection topics and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate and support RFQ/RFP processes, including preparation of technical specifications, scope of works, design criteria, technical clarifications, and evaluation of EPC, BOS/BOP contractors, and key equipmnt suppliers.
- Review conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for PV and BESS projects, ensuring alignment with prject objectives, grid connection requirements, permits, construction feasibility, budget, and schedule.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontrctors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supervise the design process and manage technical interfaces to ensure seamless integration between PV, BESS, substation, grid connection, and plant control systems.
- Support contract review activities, identifying technical risks, gaps, exclusions, interface responsibilities, warranties, performance requirements, and delivery obligations.
